Do the villas at old key west have gas or electric stoves?

Welcome Home, Barbara--and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for sending another excellent vacation planning question. It's always a great day when I get to meet a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, and I'm happy to help with the information you need.

I am so excited for your upcoming fall getaway to Walt Disney World Resort. If you haven't stayed at Disney's Old Key West Resort before, you are in for a treat! Old Key West is, of course, the OG Disney Vacation Club resort, and it is a lovely beachy spot for your vacation. I love all of the pastel colors and the feeling that I've been transported to the Florida Keys!

Barbara, one of the many wonderful features of all 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, and 3-Bedroom DVC Villas is the full kitchen included in your accommodations. We always like to have a good breakfast before we head out to tackle the theme parks, and will usually whip up a dinner or two which helps save a little money (which I will promptly spend at Uptown Jewelers).

The kitchens feature a 4-burner electric stove for your cooking needs. You'll also find plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils to make feeding your crew a snap. I also very much appreciate having an in-room washer and dryer--it lets us pack a little lighter and return home without having to immediately start in on laundry!

If you decide to indulge in some dinners out during your stay, Olivia's Cafe is located at Old Key West and it's a family favorite for brunch or dinner. You'll also be a short boat or bus ride from Disney Springs where you can choose from an endless array of delicious options! We really like Summer House on the Lake and eet by Maneet Chauhan, and will always follow up dinner with a sundae from Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop.

I hope this info is just what you need for your planning purposes, Barbara! Thanks again for visiting planDisney--please don't hesitate to reach out directly if I can help with any other questions to make your vacation as magical as can be.

    Stay Magical!
