Jambo, Crystal! Welcome back to planDisney.
A few years ago, I stayed in a Savanna view room at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge with my dear friend and fellow panelist Missy F. We spent a lovely, slow morning drinking coffee on our balcony, chatting and watching the animals. It’s a cherished memory, and I’m so excited you’ll get to experience it for yourself!
At
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, you will find a standard, drip-style coffee maker in the
1, 2, and 3-bedroom villas. Your room will be stocked with coffee filters and packets of Joffrey’s coffee in regular and decaf, along with tea bags, powdered creamer, sugar, napkins, and stir sticks. You can always call Mousekeeping from your room phone to request more of any of these supplies. The resort’s gift shop,
Johari Treasures, also stocks coffee and other grocery staples. I love exploring this shop, as it’s filled with African crafts along with Disney souvenirs.
I hope you enjoy your stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village, Crystal. Be sure to check the resort activities, as there are always unique experiences lined up for resort Guests. While
some experiences are currently on hold for health and safety reasons as Walt Disney World Resort operates on a phased reopening, I know you’ll have no trouble finding things to do, see, and explore during your stay. Did you know that Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has one of the largest collections of African art in the United States? I love to grab a hot drink and wander, taking in the art, gorgeous architecture, and the animals roaming the Savanna.
Enjoy those cups of coffee, and have a magical vacation!
