Which "village" is the best to stay at in the Caribbean Beach Resort (we have 9 year old twins, so walking isn't much of a problem) and is swimming allowed in the Beach areas?

Monika, I love your family's willingness to walk! Y'all's great attitude will made your visit to Walt Disney World even more enjoyable.

Have you considered a Pirate Room at Disney's Caribbean Resort? Wonderfully themed with galleon boat beds and scallywag decor these story rooms extend the Disney fun to even while you sleep and shower!

Consider the villages Jamaica and Aruba, The path from these areas to the main building is a lovely stroll across bridges and Barefoot Bay. Jamaica also has a playground area. Buses tend to vary their routes so no one village is consistently the last or first stop but these two are likely to be near the beginning on some routes.

You may lounge in a hammock, build sandcastles, of play volleyball on the beach, but swimming is not allowed.

    Enjoy!
