    Have a 1BR villa @ AKL KV in September. Is the big, fun pool located in KV or JH? Or is it shared between the 2? Is there a food court @ AKL? If yes, in KV or JH? Chose KV bc 1BR has 2 bath, but now I'm wondering if we'll be far from everything else! :-(

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my home resorts; you're going to love Kidani Village!

    There is a large, themed pool at both Kidani Village as well as at Jambo House.  Jambo House's Uzima Pool is larger, at 11,000 square feet (compared to Kidani Village's Samawati Springs Pool, at 4,700) but my family really loves the pool area at Kidani. Adjacent to Kidani's pool is Uwanja Camp, an "animal observation site-themed water playground" that the younger kids just love. Both pools have great slides and hot tubs as well.

    The Quick-Service restaurant for both properties, however, is at Jambo House. The Mara offers soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers, with both indoor seating as well as poolside tables.  At Kidani, there is a very limited grab-and-go menu available both poolside and in the giftshop, Johari Treasures.

    We selected Kidani Village for our upcoming three-bedroom villa stay (three generation celebration!) simply because of the pool.  We tend to eat in the parks, then come back to the pool for an afternoon or evening swim.  If you'd rather not walk to Jambo House, which is a good 10-15 minute walk, you can board any Walt Disney World Theme Park bus at Kidani Village, since they stop at Kidani first, then head over to Jambo House. In addition, you can plan that, on a return from a park, hop off at Jambo House for a Quick-Service meal, then head back to Kidani Village for a swim.

    Considering how often you'll be using that second bathroom in your villa, I think you've made the right choice.
