    Which viewing of the Candelight Processional would anyone recommd attending? Its our first trip, next week and we would like to also watch Illuminations. Is there a spot with optimal viewing of Illuminations?

    Hi Kimberly!  Any show of the Candlelight Processional is one to watch.  I usually choose either the middle or the late show just because I want to make sure it is as dark as possible for all the great effects!  The last show is spectacular but if you need to find a spot for Illuminations many of the up close ones have been taken.

    If you are heading to the show without the dinner package reservations then you will need to judge the lines as much as anything else.  Sometimes the first show is the easiest one to get into if you are willing to stand in the stand-by line for a while. Seats are not reserved but those with the dinner package are guaranteed seats as well as first choice of the best locations. The stand by guests will then be allowed entrance to fill in until the seating has reached capacity. The worse possible thing to happen is for capacity to be reached just as you reach the entrance!

    My choice for Illuminations viewing is strictly dependent on the wind direction.  Watching from the Italy Isolo area is spectacular as well as from the bridge between France and the United Kingdom.  However, if the wind is blowing towards either of those places don't head there!  Your eyes will be closed due to all the residue and you can't enjoy the full show!  Besides those two spots there are many great ones along the water.  Stop and look to make sure you don't have trees in front of you and the middle of the lake.  So much of the show is done at water level so you will want full views for the best experience!
