When viewing the bill emailed to you after checkout, listing all of your room charges made at Aulani, does it itemize every single item purchased, or does it just use the total cost for each charge with a generic label like “food” or “merchandise”?

    Aloha, Christine!

Welcome to planDisney! Mahalo for stopping by with your question about my favorite Disney Vacation Club Resort, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.  See where the line in the sky meets the sea, Christine? It calls me, and I can't wait for our family to return to Aulani for the third time this summer. You are in for quite a fun Hawaiian roller coaster ride on your trip to Aulani.

Christine, I called our friends at Aulani to confirm, but when you check out of the hotel, you will receive an itemized receipt listing all of the room charges and everything purchased each day.  So if you are trying to keep track of your vacation costs, your receipt will have it all detailed for you and broken down clearly for you to know the charges.

Now, if by chance you are wanting to split the costs with another Guest or family member staying in the same room, you can each put your own credit cards on the room for incidentals. Each card will be connected to your respective room key so that if say you are purchasing souvenirs from Kalepa's Store (do check out the Aulani-themed merchandise) and your family member is grabbing a few extra orders of Mickey-shaped Shave Ice, you can each use your own room keys for the room charge but they will be tied to your respective credit cards. This will save you from having to figure out who owes what at the end of your vacation.

I hope this helps you, Christine! If you have any additional questions about your upcoming Aulani adventure, stop back and see me here. At planDisney, we are your vacation planning 'ohana and that means nobody gets left behind.

A hui hou  (which means until we meet again),
