Hello there, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by with your question about your upcoming visit.
Oh boy! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with creating and viewing your party in the Disneyland app. Did you add a name to each ticket when you linked the tickets to your account? If you did that and are still seeing ticket numbers instead, it may just be a tech issue. As long as you have the correct number of tickets for your party you should be okay. Unfortunately, if you did not get a chance to add a name to each ticket when you linked them to your account there isn't a way to add a name to each ticket afterward in the app. You will have to call
Ticket Services, chat in the
Disneyland app, or see
Guest Relations in the park if you are already there so that a Cast Member can update and link names for each of the tickets.
A name is not necessary to have assigned to a ticket at Disneyland Resort. The ticket gets officially assigned to someone when they scan into the parks for the first time and a picture is taken by a Cast Member. However, if you are using
Disney Genie+ with a large party and you decide to split up, it is handy to be able to see names versus ticket numbers that you have to differentiate, so updating names would be a good idea.
Stephanie, I hope this information was helpful. If you have any other questions, be sure to stop by again. I hope you have a magical visit to Disneyland Resort and don't forget to check out the newest entertainment, the return of
"Magic Happens" parade.
