Can you still view the fireworks display from Wilderness Lodge, or have the trees grown up too tall?

    Hi Patrick,

Wilderness Lodge is one of my all time favorite Disney World Resorts, and in fact, I'm looking forward to spending 10 nights there this Fall!  Can't Wait!

While it is possible to view the fireworks from the balconies of rooms on higher level floors, it can really be hit or miss depending on the location. Even if you are assigned a room with views of the Magic Kingdom, the fireworks view would most likely be pretty obstructed.

For a great "out-of-park" fireworks vantage point, I would recommend taking the Wilderness Lodge Boat Launch to the nearby Contemporary Resort.  From here, you'll be able to secure one of many fabulous viewing spots which offer unobstructed views of Wishes, the Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks spectacular.  My favorite spot is the 4th floor observation deck which is located on the opposite end of the building as Chef Mickey's restaurant.  Once inside, just ask a friendly cast member to show you the way!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
