Hi Yukiko, and welcome to planDisney! I am happy to answer your question about checking credits and balances on accounts, and I'll go through a few common things that guests ask about. If I don't cover the one you are referencing, please meet me back here and ask a new question. I'd be more than glad to assist and provide additional clarity for you!
First, you might be asking about checking the balance of a vacation package that you've paid the deposit on, but have not yet fully paid off. To check the remaining balance, simply head over to the
Walt Disney World Resort website, log in, and click on "My Plans and Tickets" under the My Disney Experience tab. Remember, payments will not be automatically charged to your payment method on file, so it's important to check your balance, review the terms and conditions of your booking, and make sure you complete all payments for your trip before the due date. There is a
Frequently Asked Question about balances in the Help Center that can give you more information, and it also has a note about room only reservations.
If you want to check the balance of a Disney Gift Card, you can easily
do that online. You just need to scratch off the silvery area on the back of the card, then type the details into the website. I also use this site to combine multiple smaller gift cards onto one card so I know what my balance is and don't have to keep track of too many cards. Just log in and head to the "My Cards" tab to do this.
Finally, if you want to review the charges on your hotel folio, you can see a summary of them using the
My Disney Experience app. Open the app, tap the hamburger menu (☰), and scroll to "Hotel Reservations." Tap that and scroll to the area that displays your room number. Above your My Disney Experience character icon and room type you'll see a folder icon that says "View Charges." Tap that to see your current balance and a list of charges and payments you've made during your trip. I like to go to my resort hotel's front desk each night of my vacation and pay off my day's expenditures with a Disney gift card. This helps me budget day by day and saves my credit card from taking a hit at the end my stay.
I hope this information helps you determine what credit remains on your account, Yukiko!
