When can I view Coronado Springs and Disney Springs Halloween offerings for this year on 10/31. We will not be in the parks but I’d like to celebrate with my kids at the resort or Disney Springs.

Hi Erin! Welcome to planDisney and "boo to you!"

Halloween at the Walt Disney World Resort is really not-so-scary, and is instead filled with decorations, treats, and spook-tacular fun. I love hearing that you've got a resort hotel day planned for Halloween, and I'm smiling wider than a Mickey pumpkin thinking about the fun that's in store for you and your Mouseketeers.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my family's "Disney home," and while we haven't stayed there on Halloween, we have spent a few Easters at this gorgeous resort, and they always do a lovely job with seasonal celebrations. It's still too early to know what happy haunts might materialize this year, but be sure to ask about Halloween activities when you arrive. Check the recreation and craft offerings at La Marina, which is located near Laguna Bar (side note: check out their late-night snack and drink menu - it's fab!), and see the Activities board at the Pool for spooky splashes. In past years, there have been costume parades, candy scrambles, creepy crafts, movies under the stars, and other Halloween activities at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. With COVID precautions in place, we're not sure what this year might look like, but I know we enjoyed lots of fun activities during our visit this summer. I also think it's fun to bring some decorations for your resort hotel room - maybe some spooky LED lights or a garland for your window.

Over at Disney Springs, you'll find festive decorations and so many fun fall treats. This Foodie Guide to Fall into Magic Treats and Sips at Disney Springs is full of adorable and festive Halloween yummies. Amorette's Patisserie is one of my favorite places for dessert at Walt Disney World, and that pumpkin creme brulee is calling my name! How fun would it be to stop by Disney's Candy Cauldron (the window displays are fa-boo-lous!) and let your kiddos choose a witch, mummy, or other-themed candy apple, krispie treat, or cupcake? Be sure to take photos before they sink their fangs into their spooky snack! Be sure to follow Disney Springs, @planDisneyPanel, and the Disney Parks Blog on social media as we get closer to Halloween - you never know when sympathetic vibrations from beyond will announce more holiday fun.

Erin, I hope these tricks and treats help get you eerily excited for spooky season! If you have any further questions as you plan your Halloween hijinks, please come back and see us - we've answered 999 questions, but there's always room for one more.

Wishing you so much frightful fun,
    Robyn
