How can I view my available points to make a reservation?

Welcome Home, Dan - and welcome to planDisney! It's a pleasure to have you here. I'm happy to share some of my Disney Vacation Club knowledge so you can use your Membership for all of the magical adventures your heart desires.

The DVC website is where you'll be able to see all of your Membership information at a glance. This includes any reservations, details for your annual dues, and the status of your Vacation Points. To see the current status of your points, you'll first need to log in to the Member website. From the homepage, navigate to the "My DVC" option on the far right of the selections at the top of the page, then select "My Dashboard".

Your dashboard shows your points for several years, with a column for points available and one for points in holding. From here, you can select the "Manage Vacation Points" option, which shows year-by-year point usage. To know how many points you need to book your dream Disney vacation, check out the Points Charts for each individual resort.

Armed with your newfound knowledge, you can either make a reservation directly through the Member website or contact Member Services for a friendly assist. The Cast Members there can be a big help if you are deciding between resorts or can't book at your preferred spot - they can usually come up with a creative solution!

I definitely recommend spending some time exploring the Member website to get familiar with the many planning tools available. The Member Benefits site is also a great resource whenever you're planning a Disney trip, and you can find the most up-to-date deals and discounts there.

Dan, I hope this information is helpful and that you can put those Vacation Points toward a practically perfect trip in the not-too-distant future. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please come see us again anytime!

    Stay Magical!
