Can I video on rides at Disney World?

    Hi Carrie!

I'm super excited to see you will be at Walt Disney World Resort TOMORROW!!

This is a great question. There will be signage and announcements based on each attraction. There are some you are able to video on, but in almost all cases, you will be requested to turn the flash off. Also, per the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices are not permitted. I'm super clumsy so I would also be afraid of losing or breaking my phone if I tried to video.

I know you want to capture all of your magical memories! Have you added Memory Maker to your vacation package? If not, I highly recommend it! It includes: unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos, select attraction photos and videos, select Character dining photos, discounts on prints of your photos and Magic Shots – featuring Disney Characters and more. Based on your question, this might be the perfect addition to your vacation package!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort!
