Hi Daisy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First off, please let me say a big 'Thank You' for your service to our country! Mine is a Military family too, and I absolutely believe in the power of family vacations as a way to make up for lost time.
Walt Disney World Resort currently offers specially priced U.S. Military four and five-day park hopper tickets called Disney's Military Salute. These tickets may be purchased by those who are Active Duty, Reservists, and Retirees with either 20+ years of service or who were discharged with a 100 percent service disability.
Walt Disney World Resort does not offer a discount on any other version of their Theme Park Tickets; however, those with valid U.S. Military IDs are able to purchase slightly discounted one through ten-day tickets from two locations: either from your base/post ITT/MWR/ticket office, as well as from
Shades of Green, which is an Armed Forces Recreation Center located steps away from Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. I will say that the discounts on these tickets is usually $8-$10 per day, so you might be able to find better values elsewhere. Check with the different memberships, organizations, credit card points and even warehouse shopping clubs to which you might belong.
Mickey also releases
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts throughout the year, the most popular of these is a 'Free Dining' promotion. (With this offer, each guest in your reservation receives a complimentary
Disney Dining Plan!) 'Like' and 'Follow' the
Disney Parks Blog to be the first to know when this offer is next announced.
I hope this helped, Daisy!
