Hello, Judith!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a trip to the
Disneyland Resort soon. There's so much magic waiting for your family in the theme parks this time of year!
While the Veterans Day holiday can be a popular time to visit the resort due to seasonal offerings and many people being on vacation from work and school, you should still have plenty of chances to experience your must-do attractions thanks to
Disney FASTPASS service. I suggest you also check out Disney MaxPass, which enables you to save time in line by making FASTPASS selections from your mobile device! You’ll be able to see and do quite a bit with your little ones even if crowd levels are heavier than average.
At Disneyland Park,
seasonal festivities will include specially-themed attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, “snow” falls in the skies above portions of the park, and there’s nothing like gazing upon Sleeping Beauty Castle when it’s all gussied up with twinkling icicle lights and colorful garland! At Disney California Adventure Park, Disney Festival of Holidays will bring festive music, dance and food inspired by many cultures. Another must-do is Cars Land, where you can experience two attractions that are decked out just for the holiday season!
I hope this helps you plan, Judith! Please write back with any other questions you might have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
