As a veteran, would my husband qualify for the military discount? He is no longer active duty, but has a DD214 stating his benefits and such. And he was honorably discharged as well.

    Greetings Amanda!

Thank you so much for your question, and for your husband's service. As a fellow military family, we know just how much that means.

Members with an honorable discharge form DD214 without the accompanying retiree ID card are not eligible for the special military promotions. If your husband is a 100% disabled veteran (DD 2765) and holds an ID card with "DAVRPM", you are eligible for the discounts.

I do believe Shades of Green Resort does offer special offers for previous service members who are not career retirees. I would call them at 407-827-8387 for more information.

Thank you again for coming to see us. Please come back again if you have any other questions. I'd love to help you plan your next magical vacation!

    Have a magical day!
