Is there a veteran discount for Disneyland tickets? If so, how do I purchase them?

Hey there, Robert! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question. On behalf of all of us here, please let me thank you for your service.

There are two ticket types that are available at a discounted price for the military and they are both available only from military base ticket offices. The first is the Disney Military Promotional Ticket. These are available for active duty military and retired military members or their spouses to purchase. They can purchase up to six tickets per offer period and one must be used by the purchaser. The other ticket type is standard theme park tickets that are available to purchase at the base ticket office and can be used by anyone.

If you purchase one of these tickets from the ticket office, you will need to link them to a Disney account and make theme park ticket reservations for the tickets in order to enter the parks. You can do this on the Disneyland website or on the Disneyland app.

If you are around Main Street, U.S.A., around 5:00 p.m., be sure to stick around to check out the flag retreat ceremony. This has been done every day since the opening of Disneyland in 1955, even when the parks were closed.

Robert, thanks again for stopping by! We salute you!
