    I am a veteran but I didn't retire can I get a discount?

Hi, Jamie!  First, thank you so much for your military service.  As a Navy wife, I have great respect and admiration for those who serve and their families, who have made untold sacrifices to support their loved ones.

Unfortunately, there are no discounts available for former service members at Walt Disney World unless you fit into a specific category.  Service members that have retired, active duty service men and women, and 100% service connected disabled veterans are eligible for room and ticket discounts.  I find the best place to keep up to date with military offers is through a website called Military Disney Tips.  It is updated frequently, and the owner of the site is in constant contact with Walt Disney World to stay abreast of discounts for service members.

Don't despair, however.  Check out Disney World Special Offers and Deals.  You may find an offer you are eligible for that doesn't have anything to do with your military service.  You can find offers there for things like room discounts, specially priced vacation packages, and even free dining, when it is offered.

I hope you find the offer that is practically perfect for your family!
