    I have vertigo and this is my first cruise. Is it better to be in an inside stateroom, where I can't see the ocean at all (we are currently looking at an inside stateroom on Level 2) or if it's worth it to splurge on a verandah room with fresh air?

    Thanks for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another wonderful question! Choosing our stateroom for an upcoming Disney Cruise is always one of my favorite parts of the planning process! It's so fun using the virtual deck plan of each ship to see the exact location of each stateroom.

    Although I don't have vertigo, I can imagine how important it is for you to choose the best stateroom for your comfort during your voyage with Captain Mickey and his friends. If seeing the ocean causes your vertigo to worsen but you feel better after getting fresh air, I recommend choosing a stateroom with a solid whitewall verandah. This way you can sit on your verandah and enjoy the fresh air without seeing the water below. I love starting my morning off sitting on our verandah enjoying the ocean breeze! In my opinion, it's totally worth splurging on a stateroom with a verandah!

    If you decide that a stateroom with a whitewall verandah is the best way to go, I recommend calling the helpful agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to help you find your perfect stateroom. While you're on the phone with them, stay close by your computer so you can pull up the virtual deck plan and see where each stateroom is located that the agent is recommending!
