I am sorry to hear you may have to cancel your Disney vacation. Unfortunately, sometimes life does not go as planned but remember that the magic will always be waiting for you at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you booked a vacation package including theme park tickets and a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you will receive a refund if you cancel within the cancellation period. Guests usually have up to 30 days before their arrival to cancel their vacation packages without penalty.
If you made a room-only reservation and purchased tickets separately, you can cancel your Disney Resort hotel reservation up to 5 days before your check-in date to receive a refund for your deposit. Please note, however, that separate theme park tickets are non-refundable. You can modify your ticket dates to use your tickets for a future visit or reassign them to another Guest. I recommend checking the terms and conditions of your purchase to confirm the cancellation policy.
