How do I verify that I purchased the memory maker when I made reservations?

Welcome, Tammy, to planDisney. I just love it when a Guest finds us. We are your one-stop shop for all your Disney vacation planning needs. And you're here to make memories, so let's make this the start of your very own Adventure Book, just like in Pixar classic Up!

The first place you can check to see that Memory Maker was indeed purchased is by checking the confirmation email that was sent to the email address that's associated with your MyDisney account. If you cannot find that, log in through the Walt Disney World Resort website, select "My Plans and Tickets" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu, and scroll down until you see the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" heading. Under that heading, you'll click the blue link that says "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker," scroll down until you see "Memory Maker Purchases," and if you've purchased one, it should be listed there!

If, for some reason, it's not listed there, but you have a confirmation number from your email, simply visit the linking page on the site, click the "Select" button on the Memory Maker tile, type the confirmation number for your Memory Maker package in the "ID or Ticket Order Number" box, click the green "Next" button, and follow any other prompts from there. Of course, if you run into any issues, you can always reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the resort, and they'd be happy to get to the bottom of it. Even Russell from Up knew every adventure is a little easier with someone by your side.

Now, once you start getting pictures taken on your magical vacation, be sure to activate Memory Maker so that you can see your photos without the watermark over them and download them to your heart's content. Consider this the moment your Adventure Book truly begins! Once that first picture has been taken, open the My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner, scroll down and click "Photo Gallery," click on that first photo, and confirm you want to activate your Memory Maker package. Once complete, the watermarks should disappear, and you should be free to download them. Just note that while other members of your party who are connected to you through the My Family & Friends list and whom you've permitted to see your photos will still see them with the watermark, because only one person can hold the Memory Maker entitlement. However, once you've downloaded the pictures, you can send them to whomever you'd like.

Tammy, for an even more special memory-making experience, look into a Capture Your Moment session, which gives you 20 minutes of personalized attention from a PhotoPass Cast Member in one of the most iconic locations in the parks. You can even book two sessions back-to-back for a 40-minute photo session. But no matter what, I have no doubt that your Adventure Book will be filled with magical memories you'll treasure for years to come. If you have any other questions, I'm more than happy to help!

Now go have an amazing adventure,
    Matt
