Hi there Michael, and welcome to
planDisney!
It sounds like you're assembling quite a crew for your upcoming trip, and I'm glad to hear you've kept your
MagicBands from a previous visit. They're such a convenient way to accomplish every mission on your vacation, from theme park entry to charging purchases. Since we have two people in our family with the same first name, I just went through the process of verifying the owner of one of our MagicBands, so I'll walk you through the steps.
First, use the
My Disney Experience dropdown menu on the
Walt Disney World home page and select "My MagicBands & Cards." Scroll down until you see "Manage MagicBands or Cards." Click on the arrow to the left of a Guest and a list of MagicBands should appear. Under the image of each MagicBand is a 12-digit alphanumeric code that will match a MagicBand in your collection. Also at this point, make sure all MagicBands you will be using are marked "Active." In the future, ordering and personalizing pre-arrival MagicBands is a great way to tell them apart. That way, if Loki and Thor both want a green MagicBand, as long as each is personalized with a name on the back, they won't have to worry about mixing them up.
I hope this is helpful, Michael, and that you have a fantastic fall getaway. September is one of my favorite months to enjoy the Walt Disney World theme parks. Since it's also one of the tastiest times of the year in
EPCOT, check out the
Foodie Guide to this year's EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and take note of any must-try dishes and drinks. Finally, stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for information on other special events that may coincide with your visit. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
