Welcome back to planDisney, Victoria!
I know you are looking forward to your upcoming vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort. And Hakuna Matata, Victoria, it means no worries, we can help you some of these details off your plate so you can begin thinking about magical things like your family’s must-eat snack choices.
You can purchase your
Florida Resident tickets in advance and then, as it sounds like you have discovered,
verify your Proof of Residency in person. Now, all four theme parks have ticket booths located just outside of the parks or if your schedule allows, visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Victoria, once you have purchased your tickets, prior to verifying your residency in person, you should be able to link the tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. Once they are linked, you can begin to make your
Theme Park Reservations. The same holds true for securing the
Disability Access Service (DAS). Currently, you may pre-register as soon as 30 days in advance of a park visit, but no less than 2 days before arrival. DAS is intended for Guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to a disability. I encourage you to schedule a video call with a Cast Member who will help you with this process. During the registration chat, the Cast Member can also assist you with booking up to 2 one-hour return windows for select experiences using the new DAS Advance planning option (you may also make additional DAS selections on the day of your visit). Victoria, please note that all park visits must be within 30 to 2 days of the live chat.
Victoria, I hope this information is helpful. If you need more of our “problem-free philosophy” feel free to
reach back out to me at planDisney any time you have questions about how to make the most of your Walt Disney World vacation.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
