Welcome back to planDisney, Charity! Thanks for sending another great question our way. It's nice to see you back hEAR again!
It sounds like you took advantage of one of the incredible
ticket offers available to Mickey Mouses's closest neighbors. If you were unable to
verify your Florida residency online at the time of purchase, you can take care of this at Guest Relations just outside any of the theme parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. I understand wanting to do this before your first park day, so I recommend visiting whichever Guest Relations is most convenient to your hotel or
Disney Springs. My parents are part-time Florida residents and will be joining us on a vacation to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort next month. Because we'll just be a quick trip across Seven Seas Lagoon from the
Magic Kingdom Park, the plan is to head there after check-in to verify their residency and activate their tickets. That way the next morning, we can go straight into a theme park.
I have visited the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs in the past to take care of ticketing needs, and have had a positive experience each time. The Cast Member crew there is friendly and efficient. The central location in the Town Center region means you're not too far from sweet treats at
Sprinkles and
Gideon's Bakehouse, so be sure to stop by for a snack before heading out.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you, Charity. You'll be arriving just as
Walt Disney World's 50th-anniversary celebration is getting underway, so be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and
official social media accounts for updates on all of the excitement. Many of my panelist pals and I will be visiting that same week, and we can't wait. Thanks again for coming by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
