How do I verify my Florida residence online to receive the discounts offered to Florida residents.

    Hiya Elena!

Welcome to planDisney! There are so many special offers for Florida Residents to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I'm glad that you are looking into getting some of them for yourself!

When purchasing special Florida-resident-only tickets online there is an option to fill out a form called "Your Florida Resident Information" upon check-out. If you choose to purchase your tickets through the My Disney Experience Mobile App then you will reach a step called "customize your tickets." If for some reason it doesn't work then you will have to verify your Florida Residency in person at any Will Call booth in front of any of the theme parks or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Proof of residency can be a valid government-issued ID that shows a Florida address or a combination of items that include utility bills, mail from financial institutions, or a homeowner's policy.

According to my screen, it shows that you live in a different state than Florida. If you have moved please make sure to edit your My Disney Experience Profile so that it shows your new Florida address. This way you won't miss any local deals!

I hope this helps and you have a magical time in the Parks!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
