how can i verify my florida address online after i already purchased my tickets

    Welcome to planDisney, Bernadette!

How lucky are you to call Florida home? I’m a few states away, and I desperately crave to be Mickey Mouse's neighbor like you are! I have almost convinced my husband that an Annual Pass is practically a need. My sister is also a Florida resident, so my selling point is that I get to visit her and Mickey, it’s practically perfect in every way.

While I work on my sales pitch to my husband, I’ll help you verify your Florida residency online. You’ll first begin by filling out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form upon check-out when you purchase theme parks on the Walt Disney World website. If you are working through the My Disney Experience Mobile app, you’ll click on the "Customize Your Tickets” step. Follow the prompts to complete your digital residency verification.

If you already completed your purchase without verifying your residency, you’ll need to stop by a ticket window or Guest Relations on your way into a theme park. You’ll only have to do this once, once your status is confirmed.

For in-person and online verification, you will need one of the following

*Valid Florida Driver’s License (must have a Florida address)
*Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
    *Valid Florida-based military ID

I hope this information helps verify your residency so you can quickly get back to living in the magic of Walt Disney World Resort. Enjoy everything your residency has unlocked for you, including discounts on resort visits!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
