We are a vegetarian family (no eggs, no seafood). Do we have to pick a dining plan to skip long wait times. Is dining plan worth it for vegetarians? Is there going to be a lot of wait at fast food type restaurants in case we do not get any dining plan?

    Hello Kami!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week.

My youngest has some food allergies and sensitivities and we’ve always had great luck by contacting the Disneyland Resort Special Dietary Requests. He is gluten/dairy free so I thought it would be a little challenging to find options for him, but was pleasantly surprised at all of his choices!

As for the waits and lines, I would recommend making dining reservations if you are concerned about wait times. As for quick service locations, it has never been a long wait when I would visit most of the dining locations. When you arrive at the dining location of your choice, you can ask to speak to a chef if you have big concerns over the ingredients and options available to you. We do this with my son and always find delicious choices for him.

I hope this is helpful and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your magical visit!

    See you real soon!
