VEGAN topic question: Staying at the Contemporary Resort Club Level and wondering if anyone knows firsthand if there are plant-based options, especially breakfast food, on Club Level. Special Diets dept doesn’t have a list. Anyone know firsthand?

    Seasons greetings, Amanda!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you gear up for the vacation of your dreams at Disney's Contemporary Resort. With your Walt Disney World adventure just days away, let's dive into some delicious plant-based dining details.

Offerings at Club Level lounges vary, so it's difficult to predict exactly what items will be available during your stay. Rest assured, there are plant-based options every day, and you're welcome to make requests if you can't find what you're looking for. You'll see a lovely spread of fruit at breakfast, but you might have to ask if you are looking for plant-based eggs or pastries. When you arrive at the lounge and present your credentials to the Club Level concierge, share your dietary needs, and they will assist you based on the day's menu.

I hope this is helpful, Amanda. Traveling with vegan friends has opened my eyes to the fantastic world of plant-based dining at Walt Disney World, and I'd love to share a few hidden gems I've enjoyed recently.

Vegetable "Wellington" at Steakhouse 71. This restaurant's unique plant-based entree is spectacular.

Korean Barbeque Mushroom Bao Buns at Nomad Lounge. Unwind at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park's relaxing oasis with a cocktail and snacks. Ask about the yuca fries that may not be on the menu but are usually available.

Grilled Masa Flatbread at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park. This relatively new quick-service menu item is fantastic. It's also a super generous portion and hearty enough to share.

Pomegranate-Chili Crispy Cauliflower at Spice Road Table in EPCOT. This bold, flavorful dish is a must-try. Spice Toad Table accepts reservations, but walk-ins usually have minimal waits at off-peak meal times.

Curried Vegetable Stew at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. This cozy, comfort food is perfect to enjoy at the end of a wintry day at Magic Kingdom Park.

Wishing you the merriest holiday week, Amanda. Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" soon.
