Hi Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I currently live in South Carolina, too, and am very excited to assist another palmetto state gal in having the best Walt Disney World Resort vacation ever!
I'm staying in a club level room at the Contemporary in a few weeks and am oh so excited. I've been researching photos and video tours that previous guests have posted on various websites, and oh Lisa, we're in for a huge treat! Though we're staying at different hotels, it looks like the general spread, as well as times offered, are the same.
Starting around 6:30 A.M. and lasting until 10:30 A.M., we should expect a range of beverages from coffee and juices to milk and soda, with a variety of cereals, pastries, fruit, and yogurt. From 11:30 A.M. until 4 P.M. there will be light snacks like trail mix or cookies, mixed nuts and an assortment of candy, and most likely homemade potato chips. We'll also have access to grab and go beverages. In the early evening, around 5 P.M., is when heartier appetizer options start to come out. I've seen evening from fruit and cheese trays to an antipasti platter to chicken wings. There should even be individually portioned bowls of peanut butter and jelly for DIY sandwiches for both kids and kids at heart! From what I've read, desserts and cordials come out around 8 P.M., and it looks like there are no less than six options of each.
While the selections of evening appetizers will change daily, I have no doubt that the Concierge Lounge team at Disney's Wilderness Lodge can whip up something special for you. The amazing
Disney Signature Service team would be more than happy to assist you in planning not only goodies in the club lounge, but ensuring that the rest of your dining options meet your dietary needs as well.
I hope you're getting even more excited about your upcoming trip, Lisa, and We'll See You Real Soon!
