Howdy, Lauren! Welcome to planDisney! As a foodie—and a vegetarian—I'm so excited to help you navigate all the yummy vegan options at the Disneyland Resort. Get ready for a culinary adventure!
There are lots of plant-based food options at the Happiest Place on Earth, and the best part is that they’re easy to find around every corner. If you’re using the Disneyland mobile app, tap the plus (+) button at the bottom and select “Order Food”. From there, tap on a dining location, then press the “View Menu” button. You’ll have access to the full menu, including the plant-based options. They’re actually listed in their own category clearly labeled “plant-based”, so you can’t miss them.
Now that you know where to find some vegan food options, I hope you don’t mind if I share my favorites!
If you're like me and love starting your day in Disneyland Park, you've got to try the Ronto-less Garden Wrap from
Ronto Roasters in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It's the perfect fuel for a morning of riding Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! This faraway land is also home to my favorite lunch spot in the entire galaxy:
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. I order the Felucian Kefta Garden Spread nearly every time I’m there. It consists of Impossible™ Meatballs on a bed of hummus and vegetable relish, served with pita bread.
When I'm at Disney California Adventure Park, I love enjoying a meal at
Carthay Circle Lounge. And you know what's even better? Dining al fresco! If you can snag a table on the patio off of Buena Vista Street, you're in for a real treat. I like to order the Malai Kofta Potato, which is an Indian curry dish. I pair it with the Rose Petal Soda from the drink menu. It’s a non-alcoholic sparkling water beverage with a perfect hint of rose flavor—perfect for any season. The meals at Carthay Circle Lounge are small, so I like to stop by for an early lunch or afternoon pick-me-up. If I’m craving a hearty lunch, you can usually find me at
Paradise Garden Grill. Their plant-based option is divine, and it often rotates for celebrations and special events.
And now, for the moment you've been waiting for... drumroll please... the world-famous DOLE Whip is totally vegan! You can find it at the
Tiki Juice Bar. But let's be honest, you'll probably find me with one in hand as I race over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
I also have to fill you in on another pro tip: Check out the
Foodie Guides on the Disney Parks Blog for comprehensive food options available during celebrations and special events. Next up on the list is the
Foodie Guide to Lunar New Year 2025 at Disneyland Resort. If you’d like to quickly view the vegan options, I’d recommend opening the search tool in your browser and searching for “plant-based”.
I hope this helps you plan the most magical and delicious Disney trip ever, Lauren! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. We're here to make your Disney dreams come true!
