    Do the various park shows like Lion King at AK, Crush at Epcot, Disney Junior etc have lines, require tickets or check in ahead of time? How early can you check in for a show? Not quite sure how these work but seem like something our 3yr olds mustn't miss!

    Hi, Heather! With very few exceptions (I.e. those shows viewed as part of a paid dinner package) most shows at Walt Disney World are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. It's difficult to gauge how far in advance you should line up for a show; I try usually to wander past the door about an hour beforehand in order to get a feel for the crowd level. If people are already lining up and this is a don't-miss show for my family, I'm prepared to invest the time to wait. There is no way to check in and reserve a spot for these stage shows aside from being in line. The first and final showings of any performance often grab the largest crowds, so you might want to consider making your viewing time later In the day; a Times Guide will prove invaluable as you schedule your attractions. A side note: the Disney Junior show at Hollywood Studios is cast with hand puppets and the audience is seated on the floor in front of a standard stage. The stage is high enough that a three year old might have some difficulty seeing the puppets if seated too close to the front. The temptation is generally to head straight down toward the front of the theater, but your children might have a better viewing experience from further back. They will not miss out on anything -- the entire theater will be rocking with Handy Manny, Jake, the Neverland Pirates, and Mickey Mouse! Have a fantastic trip! See you later, celebrator! -Deborah B.
