Hiya, Shantel!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and for sending this
Disneyland Resort Magic Key question to us hEAR!
Oh boy! I love that not only are you a member of the coolest club in the Kingdom, you're excited to renew for yEAR two of your magical membership! Yes, you should be able to apply the value of a standard
Theme Park Admission Ticket towards the renewal fee of a
Magic Key. (I did this myself a few yEARs ago with an Annual Pass, and I don't think anything would have changed to this type of transaction despite the programs being revamped.) hEAR are a few tips:
~The
Theme Park Admission Ticket must be completely unused. (Partially used tickets are allowed to be used towards annual pass upgrades; however, at the current time, Keys are only available for renewals.)
~Double check your ticket type; if it is a promotional pass or something you won somewhere, it might not be allowed to have its value transferred. (These ticket types will usually have 'not eligible for upgrade' printed on them.)
~To set this credit in motion, you can either call the Cast Members at the
Magic Key Helpline or visit a Ticket Booth in person. That phone number is (714) 781-7277.
~Unused day ticket values
can be applied to your remaining Key balance if you're utilizing a monthly payment plan.
