Hi, Kevin!
Thank you for bringing another question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's an honor to help you find the best option for yet another memorable Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
First of all, I'm happy to tell you that you will find mini-refrigerators at both Disney Resort hotels. My husband and I stayed at
Disney's Pop Century Resort a few weeks ago. I must say it was awesome to chill our refillable water bottles overnight to take them to the Theme Parks in the morning!
Your choice ahead is indeed a tough one, as both Disney Resort hotels have their qualities.
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is smaller, with almost 2,000 rooms, and it's served by buses to take you to the Theme Parks and Disney Springs.
Disney's Pop Century Resort, on the other hand, is slightly larger, with almost 2,900 rooms. It also offers more transportation options, as you can take advantage of the fantastic Disney Skyliner to visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Epcot.
I experienced the Disney Skyliner earlier this month with my friends Brandy and Kari, and we had the best time. The views are outstanding, and the ride was smooth and fast.
Considering that you're traveling at the end of June, having the
Disney Skyliner as a
transportation option might be handy at busier times. The more diverse transportation options are the main reasons why I would suggest staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort instead of Disney's All-Star Sports Resort.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is also a smart choice because
its rooms were recently reimagined, and they look AWESOME. They are practical, the floor is always clean because of the new laminate surface, and the queen-size Table Bed is outstanding. It's comfortable because of the full-depth mattress, and it's convenient because you can lift it out of the way as soon as everybody is awake and ready to start the day!
I hope that these considerations help you make an informed decision about your upcoming trip, Kevin. As always, it's a great pleasure to help a kind friend like you!
If more questions pop up before you make this or other magical decisions, please, stop by. We will be excited to have you back!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
