Are the value resorts decorated for Christmas? Trees? Lights? We are coming this Christmas and I trying to decide if we want to stay on Disney in a value resort or off Disney. The moderate and dexule resorts are too expensive for the Holidays.

    Hi Andrew!

Yes, the Value Resorts are decorated for the Christmas season.  Although they may not be as lavishly decorated as some of the Deluxe Resorts in Walt Disney World, they still have some great Christmas decorations!  I stayed in Pop Century Resort in December 2010 and they had an awesome Christmas Tree in the lobby and wreathes as well as smaller Christmas Trees in the food court and areas around the lobby.  There also was great Christmas music playing all around the Pop Century Resort too.  The other Value Resorts decorate in a similar manner for the Holidays as well.

One of most favorite things to do during the Christmas Season in Walt Disney World is to go around to the different Resorts on Walt Disney World property to look at there Christmas decorations because their decorations are themed to that particular Resort! Make sure you don't miss The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Wilderness Lodge, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge!

I hope that you make some magic memories during Christmas time at Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
