Are the Value resort really noisy?

    Hi Jen,

I hate to say anything negative about Disney World, but at the same time give my honest opinion, so here goes....Unfortunately, yes, the rooms can get a bit noisy depending on their location!  Anytime you have this many amount of rooms together and on top of each other as well as packed together, I think it is unavoidable.  The location does make a big difference though and it is not only the "value" resorts, it is most of them really.

I would suggest, based on my experiences there, to stay away from the connecting Hallways (you know, where people go through to the other side of the building!), away from the Elevators, Also during the High Season and the pools are crowded late in the night, facing the pool can also be noisy (even though these are generally the "preferred" rooms), and the biggest noise maker would have to be the Housekeeper's areas from my personal experiences, (unfortunately, although I find all cast members to be very friendly here, the housekeeper's have a tendency not to think about the people in the mornings who may still be sleeping after being in the parks until 1:00am during Extra Magic Hours!).

The rooms I have found to be the best are the one's at the very ends of each building, facing a lake (if there are any) or a bit out of the way locations, which are essentially cheaper but do require a bit more walking.  So what is more important to you?  More walking or noise levels?  I think if you keep these things in mind, you will avoid the general noise problems in all of the Resorts at Disney World.

    Best Wishes,
