Hi, what is a value resort? Also, my 11yo daughter and I will be going to WDW in March.  Where can we stay for a reasonable price (under $60.00 night)?

Value Resort is just a classification of the Resort.  The rooms could be a little smaller, and they are short on frills, no on-site fitness centers, coffee makers are by request, no refrigerators but can be requested for a nightly fee.  There is no shortage on fun, all value resorts have themed pools, although no value resorts have slides at their pools unlike most moderate resorts.  There are food courts and arcades at all value resorts.  March is a very busy time at Disney, and the room rates do reflect the increase in demand.  Generally, rates start at $79.00 a night, there are promotions, and Disney Travel Companies that specialize in Disney vacations, that may have additional discounts.

It may not be possible to find a rate of less than $60.00 a night, directly through Disney Central Reservations(CRO), however, check into travel sites like Travelocity, allears.net, mousesavers.com, and look around for some other promotions.  Hope you are able to enjoy the Magic!!!  Heather M.
