Hello again, friend. Thanks for sharing another question with us. To build on your last question,
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to tackle some of those must-do attractions while having a relaxed day. Let's zap to it and talk about strategy.
The way I
get the most out of Lightning Lane Multi Pass is making sure I stay on top of snagging return times for attractions throughout the day. As soon as you scan your ticket and enter the park, you can make your first Lightning Lane selection. Once you've made a selection, your next selection can be made as soon as you've redeemed a Lightning Lane, or two hours from the time your last selection was made. Because of this, I like to get to the park early to make my first selection as soon as possible.
To help me stay on top of making selections throughout the day, I'll set an alarm on my phone to remind me of when I can schedule my next attraction, or you can also see what time you're able to do this in the
Disneyland app.
There are a few attractions that are quite popular and often run out of selection times. These include Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! For these attractions (and all attractions, really) I'll keep an eye on return time offerings in the app to make sure I don't miss out.
Because you'll be visiting during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, Haunted Mansion return times will also be very popular. During this time of year, Jack Skellington and his pals take over to create
Haunted Mansion Holiday and you won't want to miss it! While we're on the topic of spooky overlays, Guardians of the Galaxy also receives a haunting makeover and turns into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. And bonus, if you're fast and lucky enough, you can get a Lightning Lane return time for both versions of the ride!
Keep in mind that you can also book Lightning Lane return times for both parks as soon as you're scanned into the park at the beginning of the day. When scheduling, I'm also mindful of the locations of the attractions I'm booking. This way I'm not having to constantly hop back and forth between parks or trek across the whole park just to make it to my next attraction. While I love getting my steps in, I love efficiency more.
Finally, don't forget that you also get unlimited
Disney PhotoPass digital downloads from the day! Pictures are always my favorite souvenirs from my visits, so definitely make some time throughout the day to capture all the magical memories.
Well, friend, I hope I was able to share some helpful tips and things to think about as you're getting ready for your visit. Please come back to let us know if there are any other questions you might have. Here's hoping you have your best Disney day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
