Hi there, Vikki, and welcome to planDisney! It's lovely to have you sail our way with your question.
It's almost time for the magic to begin! Let's go over the
essential documentation for your voyage aboard the Disney Wish to the Bahamas. All you need is your original, valid US Passport Card. If you plan to explore Nassau or Disney Castaway Cay, remember to bring your Key to the World card and a photo ID for re-boarding. Personally, I keep my passport in the stateroom safe and use my driver's license as identification.
When you arrive at the port, a Disney representative will review your citizenship documentation and scan your Port Arrival Form. While waiting for your Boarding Group Number, open the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and start exploring all the fun in store for you. The app will list the daily activity schedule, as well as your dining rotation and more! There’s also a handy chat feature that allows you to communicate with your traveling companions.
Before the sail-away party, consider having lunch at my absolute favorite spot,
Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods. My top picks are the pulled pork and macaroni and cheese from Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue. While I could happily dine there daily, Donald's Cantina offers tempting tacos you won't want to miss. There are so many options!
Vikki, say hi to Captain Mickey for me and have a swell time!
