Hi there, Christopher, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! I’m happy to help clarify this for you.
The
California Resident Ticket offer is a great deal available for locals to enjoy the magic of the
Disneyland Resort. While you can purchase these tickets online and make park reservations, you and your partner will need to present your California IDs to enter the park.
All Guests over 18 years of age with this ticket are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID that includes the qualifying address. Unfortunately, pay stubs, bank statements, or any other “proof of residency” documents are not valid forms of ID. The ID would need to be either a driver’s license or a standard identification card from the DMV.
If waiting for the California ID is too long for your comfort, feel free to check out the other
offers and discounts available at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Christopher, I hope this helps and that you all can figure this out! If you have any additional planning questions, please come back and see us again here at planDisney.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
