Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kristen, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s always great to see you hEAR!
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is one of my favorite Disney Parks hotels, and I can’t wait for you to experience it! Perhaps my favorite feature of this gorgeous hotel is the super-convenient, exclusive entrance into
Disney California Adventure Park. I love that my family can walk from our hotel room to Cars Land in a matter of minutes!
As for overnight parking options, registered Guests can choose between self-parking and valet service. Currently, the cost for self-parking is $25 per night, per vehicle, and valet service is $35 per night, per vehicle. Prices are subject to change without notice at any time. If you opt for self-parking, the lot is located just across Disneyland Drive from the Grand Californian.
Here’s a helpful map (located at the bottom of the page) so you can see this lot more easily. I recommend dropping off your bags at Bell Services before parking in the lot, so you don’t have to walk across the street with your bags. I’ve parked in this lot several times, and it’s still easily accessible for Guests. Simply cross at the intersection, then follow the pathway to the gate, where you’ll need to be let in as a Guest of the hotel. Have your room key ready in case you need it to pass through the gate.
I’m excited to tell you about
a few more perks for Guests of the Grand Californian… starting with the Art of Craft Tour. During this tour, you’ll learn more about the Arts and Crafts movement, and how it influenced the architecture of the Grand Californian. Stop by the Guest Services desk to reserve your spot. The Get Up & Go Power Walk is another unique opportunity for hotel Guests. This is a fast-paced 2-mile power walk through Disney California Adventure Park before it opens to the public – how cool is that?! You can also sign up for this special walk at the Guest Services desk. Last but not least, don’t miss The Grand Quest, a fun-filled scavenger hunt throughout the Grand Californian property. This experience is recommended for children ages 3-12. Young adventurers will even receive a special treat after they complete their quest! No reservation is required for The Grand Quest – just stop by Guest Services to receive your instructions, and get started!
I can’t wait for you to experience the magic and luxury of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Kristen! Please stop by with any additional planning questions… I’m all EARs!
