Can we valet at Disney hotels and use Disney transportation to get to the parks? And would this be better and quicker parking then the lots?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I think it’s safe to say that, as a general rule, it wouldn’t be quicker to park at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and then use Disney Transportation to get to a Theme Park, even if you use valet parking. The time it would take to catch a bus, along with its transportation time would be easily more than walking/taking the tram, even from the furthest lot using standard complimentary parking at the Theme Park of your choice. I wouldn’t recommend it as an option for your upcoming visit.

The only places where I could see a (marginal) advantage would be to go to Magic Kingdom Park via one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels located along the Resort Monorail loop. This is only because you have to take a monorail or a ferry boat once you’ve parked your car in order to actually get to Magic Kingdom Park. Please remember, however, that if you choose to park at one of these Resorts, you will have to use valet parking if you would like to stay parked in the Resort’s parking lot for more than 3 hours.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
