What vaccines are required for dogs to stay at Art and Animation

    Hello, Allison,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. How fun that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World and staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! The theming and iconic movie figures featured throughout the resort may make you feel as if you have stepped foot into a classic Disney film.  And of course, there is also the addition of the Disney Skyliner, which makes getting to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios so simple yet fun.

But I have to confess, the best part of your stay is that it looks like you may be bringing along your dog to one of the 4 dog-friendly resorts at Walt Disney World.  Returning back to your resort and getting to cuddle with your furry friend after a day at Walt Disney World sounds like the best pixie-dusted vacation I could imagine!  I called Walt Disney World on your behalf and found that these are the required vaccinations that your dog will need to have to stay at the resort:

    • Rabies
    • Canine distemper
    • Parvovirus
    • Adenovirus  (canine hepatitis)
    • Parainfluenza
    • Bordetella
You will need to have written proof of the vaccinations from your veterinarian upon check-in at the resort. You may also find it helpful to read through further information about the Pet Policies prior to your arrival.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
