Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Maria. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question! It's my pleasure to help you plan a visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth."
As part of their phased reopening process, the Walt Disney World Resort is implementing several health and safety measures including enhanced cleaning, physical distancing, and reduced contact. At this time, Guests do not need to be vaccinated for entry into the theme parks. However, all Guests ages 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status, are required to
wear face coverings in all indoor locations including attractions, theaters, retail locations, restaurants (unless actively eating or drinking while stationary), and on Disney transportation. Face coverings outdoors are currently optional.
Safety protocols have been frequently updated based on guidance from health authorities, so it's a good idea to check the
Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your arrival. You can also find a guide to updated experiences on the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Speaking of the My Disney Experience mobile app, be sure to have it downloaded for your visit. It's magic at your fingertips! This handy app has lots of convenient features, but one of my favorites is the
mobile food and beverage ordering feature. It has saved my family lots of precious time in the theme parks!
I hope this was helpful, Maria. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
Ashley
