Ahoy there, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy you cruised by to chat with us today. I can really get onboard with your question because I want to make sure all Disney Cruise Line Guests understand what they need to do prior to sailing.
Disney Cruise Line’s
Know Before You Go page spells out which Guests are subject to being vaccinated. Currently, all Guests 12 and older must be fully vaccinated. Additionally, for sailings beginning on or after January 13, 2022, Disney Cruise Line requires that Guests ages 5 and older be fully vaccinated in order to set sail. I’m not certain when your sail date is, so just make sure you follow these rules and upload the necessary proof of vaccination (or COVID-19 test results for kids under age 12 for sailings before January 13, 2022) to the
Safe Passage website in advance of your sailing.
Disney Cruise Line accepts the following vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Covishield, Novavax, Sinopharm and Sinovac. Guests are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving:
-A single-dose of an accepted 1-dose vaccine;
-The second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine;
-The full series of an active (not placebo) COVID-19 vaccine in the US-based AstraZeneca or Novavax COVID-19 vaccine trials; OR
-The second dose of any “mix-and-match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines (administered at least 17 days apart).
You can be assured that Disney Cruise Line has the health and safety of its Guests and crew as a top priority. I always recommend that Guests keep checking the
Travel Advisory page for updated information as well as the
Experience Updates page for details on how these cruises are operating and what to expect.
Hopefully this helps you in making your Disney cruise plans. Happy to assist you with more planning tips and advice if you need it.
SEA ya real soon!
