Hello Judith and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you thought to drop by to ask your question as you prepare for your upcoming voyage with the
Disney Cruise Line.
And oh boy, it's almost time for you to be welcomed aboard by Mickey and the gang! Based on your arrival dates, it appears you will be setting sail on the
Disney Fantasy. The Fantasy is a stunning ship and offers many wonderful experiences onboard. Be sure to check out the
Midship Detective Agency for an interactive game that's great for the young and the young at heart!
At this time, all vaccine-eligible guests ages five and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to sail. As it sounds like you meet this requirement, you must also be sure to upload your proof of vaccination through the Safe Passage website prior to your cruise.
If there are any guests in your sailing crew that are not vaccine-eligible, they must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken between 3 days and 24 hours prior to embarkation. To meet the requirements, it must be a lab-based or rapid PCR test or a NAAT test. These results would also be uploaded to the Safe Passage website. Please remember that this is just for those who are not vaccinated.
If you are vaccinated and have uploaded the documentation and are clear to sail, the final part of the boarding process will be an embarkation day COVID-19 test. This is required for all guests, regardless of their vaccination status, will be administered at the port and is paid for by the Disney Cruise Line.
For an idea of what to expect for your sailing, I highly recommend you read over the
Updated Experiences page of the Disney Cruise Line website. You can even take a peek just a few days before sailing to see if anything has been updated. The page clearly states when it was last updated. Changes are happening all of the time, and more experiences that we know and love are returning.
I hope that you have an absolutely fabulous sailing. If you love adventure, don't forget to take a ride on the thrilling AquaDuck! If you pack your swimsuit in your carry-on bag, you can even experience it before the ship leaves the port.
Adventure is waiting!
