Ahoy there, John, and welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you're getting ready to chart a course for adventure! A voyage on the high seas is a great way
for you and your crew to make magical memories!
One of the best ways to ensure smooth sailing is to be prepared, and for that you've come to the right place!
When it comes to vaccines,
current Disney Cruise Line health and safety protocol requires all vaccine-eligible Guests to be vaccinated in order to sail. As of this writing, that means every Guest 5-years-old and older must be fully-vaccinated, and those who are not eligible because of age must provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test within the three days prior to boarding. Beyond that, all guests must verify their vaccination status using the Safe Passage website starting 15 days before your cruise.
With so many things to remember, I always make sure to have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded and the "Know Before You Go" information pages bookmarked! Not only do they provide
super-important step-by-step details like a pre-cruise checklist, what to expect before leaving home and
on embarkation day, but are also a great way to stay up-to-date on any changes that may be announced!
Now that you know that, the horizon looks clear and the sea looks right for finding the itinerary that's right for you and your crew! If you hadn't heard,
new itineraries were just released through summer 2023, so there's plenty of options for you to choose from!
We have our heading, it would seem, and I hope it is helpful as you continue planning! Thank you for your question, John, and if you have any others as you get closer to the sail date of your choosing, please pull into port any time and ask us here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
