    Vacationing in May with 4 adults and a 5 yr old with Autism. I'm looking for affordable hotel , trans to parks, joining rooms, King size bed (husband is 6'6). And, what resorts can you recommend for my son? He likes small rides, animals, and slides

    I would recommend Animal Kingdom Lodge.  There are a few rooms with King sized beds and bunk beds for the kids.  One of our closest friends is 6'8" and his wife is 5'11'' and they stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  They had a fabulous time! The boys had bunk beds and the room connected to grandma's.  We met up with them at the Boardwalk Resort and the kids loved watching the animals from the balcony.  The Animal Kingdom Lodge is breathtaking.  It's incredible to look out over the Savannah in the evening.  The pool is open 24 hours, or at least it was last year.  There is a pool slide but its pretty steep.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!!
