We are vacationing Jan/Feb 2013 and booking a savanna view room, can anyone tell me from which floors the views are the best? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th? I know WDW can't guarantee any specific room, but I plan to call 4-10 days prior to our trip as suggested...

    Hi Susan!!!!

I absolutely love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!!  The Savannah View is definitely one of the most sought after and unique views of any resort at Walt Disney World!!!

The floor location for the best Savannah View is a wonderful question.  The fact is you don't want to be too low, yet not too high.  The best floors, based on my experience, would be the 3rd or 4th floors.  The 2nd floor is good because you have a closer view of the animals, but you don't get the great panoramic views of the savannah being so low.  If you are on the top floor, you often times have the tree line in the way to see all the animals.  I think that you would be very happy with either the 3rd (preferably) or 4th floors.

Please let me know if you have any further questions that I can help answer!!!

    Have a magical trip!!
