Vacationing in Jan 2010 with our 2 boys, 8 & 4, staying at Bay Lake Tower. Curious if we should do the grocery delivery from Goodings, or if there is a shop in the resort that carries food items. I.e. breakfast stuff, snacks, wine etc.. Thanks so much.

Hello Wendy!  First of all, you are going to love Bay Lake Towers (BLT)!  Having access to the monorail is very convenient and you are just a short walk away from Magic Kingdom!

As far as grocery shopping goes, it depends on how much you plan on eating in your room, etc.  There is a store in the Contemporary that sells donuts, danish, juice, soda, beer, wine, snacks, etc.  We found it to be plentiful for our needs.  When I stayed at BLT recently with two of my children, we purchased several bottles of water, juice and soda to keep in our refrigerator and a few snacks to keep on hand when we wanted something to much on.

We found the food court at the Contemporary to be plentiful and filling.  In fact, we often split our meals at times as we found the portions to be generous.  We also took a monorail ride over to the Poly to eat at their food court for a little variety.

If you decide to go with Goodings, I have read good reviews and I believe panelist Kay has used them recently.  If you have any questions, you may want to send her a direct question.

Have a wonderful vacation!  Diane :)
