    Hi!!! We are vacationing with friends so will be a party of 7 total and I know with a party 6 or more gratuity is automatically added. my question is, is the 18% divided between the 2 checks or 18 for both?

    Hi Jessica,

    The 18% gratuity will appear on each check, but only for the number of dinners covered on that check.  For instance, if one check includes three people and the other covers four people, the two separate checks will appear as follows:

    Check #1:  the cost of three dinners plus 18% of the cost of those three dinners

    Check #2:  the cost of four dinners plus 18% of the cost of the other four dinners
