we are vacationing at Disney's All Star Music Resort and would like to rent a microwave to bring into our room. I already know about the microwaves in the food court. May we bring a microwave into our room? And do you know of any rental companies?

    Hi Ruth,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for asking us another question!

If you’re staying in a Family Suite at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, then I have some good news for you: your room already has a microwave in it! If you’re staying in a standard room, however, from what I understand, there are no microwaves available to rent directly from Walt Disney World Resort, and I’ve also heard that using those kinds of amenities in your room is discouraged because they might represent a fire hazard. To be on the safe side, I would recommend that you contact Walt Disney World Resort in order to speak to Guest Services. They’ll be able to tell you what you can and can’t bring to your hotel room during your upcoming stay.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you the answer you were looking for. That being said, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We always like to try and help!

    Have a Magical Day,
